SLANTRANGE Director of Strategic Development to Speak at UK / US Phenomics Workshop

SLANTRANGE Director of Strategic Development, Matthew Barre, will be speaking at the UK / US Phenomics Workshop at the University of Arizona Maricopa Agricultural Center on January 19, 2017. Working with the BBSRC-sponsored UK Plant Phenomics Network (, the UK Science & Innovation Network is organizing the workshop “Moving Field Phenomics from Theory to Practice” in order to promote greater ties between the UK and US phenomics research communities. The UKPPN, University of Arizona, and USDA-ARS will host this event. Matt will be presenting the latest SLANTRANGE research into applying spectral and spatial image processing techniques to support rapid, in-field phenomics using drone-based multispectral sensors.
